SAM is able to ship to valid U.S. postal addresses only.
When an order is placed, it will be shipping to an address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained on this website. All purchases from this website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. We are unable to guarantee delivery to P.O boxes, UPS locations, APO addresses or any other third party shipping service such as a freight forwarding agency. As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this Website pass to you upon delivery of the items to the shipping carrier. SAM is not responsible for damaged and/or lost shipments once it leaves our facilities.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receiving it, however, processing time can take up to 3 business days, even for overnight and 2-day orders. Shipment method and arrival time is calculated from the time of dispatch, referring to transit time only and does not include processing time. The estimated transit times in the chart above are to be used as an estimated guide only. Usually, overnight and 2-day orders received past 12pm EST will ship out the following business day after the order is received in our system. During times of high volume, order-processing time can be longer than 3 days. We are not responsible for delayed transit times, as they may vary and are not guaranteed by UPS.
Additionally, we do not offer Saturday delivery. When placing your order, please keep in mind that no orders will ship out on the following days due to our shipping facilities’ holiday hours and routinely scheduled system maintenance:

We are unable to process foreign issued credit cards for US orders. Should you need to use a credit card that was issued outside of the US, you will need to place your order through International Check Out.
International Shipping outside of the U.S.
International Orders are processed and shipped through third party company, Global Shopex.
If the recipient refuses delivery of their order due to a customs charge, the package will be considered abandoned and disposed of by the shipping carrier and your order will not be eligible for a refund. An international order cannot be canceled once the order is placed.

Order Processing
Orders are processed based on availability and credit verification. **Please note orders may NOT be modified nor cancelled once they are placed.
We do not issue price adjustments. Should you purchase a regular priced item that is later marked down, or further reduced after the time of your order, we are unable to refund the difference in price.
Sales tax guidelines: Orders with a shipping address in the state of New York or Jersey are subject to their appropriate state sales tax. Only garments and articles with a chief component of fur are subject to New Jersey sales tax.
Orders placed on Friday after 12 PM US EST (Eastern Standard Time) will begin processing on the following Monday. SAM will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is currently out of stock, has an increased backorder time, or if we need additional information for credit verification.
ORDER PROCESSING AND DELIVERY TIMES DO NOT INCLUDE SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, OR HOLIDAYS. Usually, orders placed before 12 PM US Eastern Standard Time will begin processing immediately and usually ship the same or next business day given stock availability.
If you refuse or return a shipment from SAM, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, and any additional fees associated with returning the package to SAM.
Defective products: Goods are classified as defective if they incur damage due to a manufacturing fault that occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of general wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If you receive an item you feel is defective, please send an email providing an image of the fault to customerservice@sam-nyc.com immediately.

Returns
You have 14 days from the date of order delivery to initiate a return. We will gladly accept returns on all full-price items within 21 days from the date your order was shipped. This means you have a total of 21 days for the package to be received back at our location, but return requests are not accepted past 14 days from the date of fulfillment. Items purchased on sale, or with a promotion or discount code are not eligible for return.
INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES are final sale and may not be returned nor exchanged.
*Please note, In order to serve you most efficiently, we do not offer merchandise exchanges. Instead, you'll get the right size or color fastest if you simply place a second order. Once we receive your return, we'll credit your account.
SAM must authorize all returns prior to you sending back your merchandise. We will not accept any returns without an authorized RA number. All returned items must be unworn, unwashed merchandise with the original tags attached. Items that do not meet these criteria will be denied and sent back to the customer.
Returns will be refunded in the original form of payment minus $11 for the returns fee and minus the original outbound shipping and handling fee. This fee is applied to each return request, not each order. Therefore, if you return multiple items from the same order separately or multiple orders in the same package, you will still be charged $11 per order and per request for return. Authorized returns received past 21 days from the date your order was shipped will incur an additional $25 restocking fee. If we receive the return package past 30 days from the date of dispatch, the return authorization will no longer be valid. In that case, the return will not be accepted nor refunded and immediately shipped back to you. There are no exceptions. Please allow 7 business days for transit time when shipping your return. If the item is not returned using our issued return label, we are not held liable should the item get lost in transit or is not delivered to our location successfully.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Packages that arrive COD may be denied, or the COD amount may be deducted from your return.
Once we receive your return, return processing and refund time is 5-15 business days. Process time may be longer during peak seasons. Please allow your financial institution an additional 7-10 business days to post refund amounts to your account.
Rules and Restrictions:
- SAM-NYC.com does not accept returns nor exchanges on orders purchased with a coupon code or promo code. Additionally, items on sale or marked down from the original price are final sale and not eligible for return nor exchange.
- promotion code must be applied ONLY at the time of purchase. We will not be able to apply this promotional discount to orders placed prior to the start date/time of the promotion, nor to orders placed during the active time of the promotion, that were not originally placed using the code at the time of checkout
- We reserve the right to reject any returns that do not comply with the conditions above. If your package is not accepted, it will be sent back to you and a refund will not be granted.
- Since the resolution and color composition of each computer monitor varies, we cannot guarantee the 100% accuracy of the colors of products displayed on our website.
- SAM monitors account activity and reserves the right to refuse transactions, assess fees, and/or close accounts based on order or returns behavior.
If purchased from another retailer:
SAM-NYC.com does not accept returns on any items purchased from any retailers other than SAM-NYC.com. We are happy to answer any questions related to SAM products, but we are unable to process any returns, exchanges, credits, refunds, or repairs for any product purchased outside of our website.
SAM-nyc.com Purchase Warranty
Should your SAM item that was purchased from our website, incur a damage within 3 months of delivery, we will gladly assess photos of the damage and provide a solution for any items we deem defective due to a manufacturing error. However, please note the following:
- Tears or rips in the fabric can be due to any external force, and are not defects due to a manufacturing error.
- The coated cotton fabric that our parkas are crafted with is intentionally designed to distress with time and wear. The fabric is meant to be broken in over time.
- Due to the fact that fur is a natural material, each trim and/or garment is going to vary a bit in color, volume, and overall appearance. During the production process, we hand select the highest quality and most uniform looking furs, but there is going to be a degree of variance amongst the stock.
We do not have a formal repair service. In the case that a garment component (such as a snap or zipper pull) becomes lost or defective, in most cases, we are able to provide customers with a replacement component. (There may be a cost depending on the item and whether or not it must be special ordered). We do not sell nor stock replacement hoods or fur trims, including fur collars and linings.
